Radiology of foot and ankle: New BerlinCaseViewer module
With the “Ankle & Foot” module, doctors have the opportunity to sharpen their eye for the different conditions. On the basis of twelve cases, Professor Iris Eshed from Israel introduces the systematics of these diseases and shows how they can be differentiated from one another. In the course of this, osteoarthritis and other forms of arthritis are compared, whereby rheumatic disease in particular is often difficult to recognize in practice. Tumors are added to the range of differential diagnoses.

Today we are celebrating the 10th International Radiology Day - IDoR 2021. Every year, radiologists use November 8th to raise awareness of the importance of medical imaging around the world. On February 25th, the platform AuntMinnieEurope.com awarded the best radiological achievements of 2020. A community of over 31,000 members could suggest nominations in eight categories, ranging from “Most Influential Radiology Researcher” to “Best New Radiology Vendor”. A committee decided who would move on into the final. Then the news at the end of 2020: The BerlinCaseViewer, with its free module on COVID-19 pneumonia, first made it onto the shortlist for “Best New Radiology Software” and eventually reached the final.
